Question about
Upgrading my BB Bold 9650 to an Android handset but I don't know which one would be best. I need something with good battery life and easy to type on.
Was thinking of a slider but wondered about the durability of the sliding keyboard. I don't want a bunch of extra crap apps on it. I basically need exchange email and good phone reception.
If you're dead set on a physical keyboard, your best bet is the Droid 2 or similar. The slider on that handset, not to mention the device itself, seems pretty substantial and durable. You might also consider the Droid Pro, which has a candy-bar form factor similar to your Bold, though it has not been as well reviewed.
