Upgraded to first firmware that did encrypted video stream, which ruined it for intended use. Anyway to roll back so I can roll my own streamcatcher?

Another bit of advice I've seen is to uninstall your current SlingPlayer version and reinstall an older one, then re-install the firmware. This might be worth trying first before you start mucking about in the Hex editor.
