Still not sold on it, rather have a 3000 for less, or maybe even a 2000

hopefully they'll price drop the "inferior" UMD-less models (like the 4000 you were talking about) when this comes out... I just hope they don't have it anywhere near the Wii, cuz people will see they're the same price and freak on sony!

I am hoping so to, maybe they will drop the 3000 to a price more competitive with the DSi or lite even.

right now the price of the:

Sony PSP-3000 $169.99

Nintendo DSi - $169.99

so ya, and nintendo can only do that because of the retarded demand. two cameras or not, that is crazy inferior hardware on the DSi....

Ok, true it is inferior hardware, but the dual screens and vast, vast quantity of games, crappy is still a better deal. And i actually don't mind some of the graphics. They fit nintendo very well.

I don't mind either and theres a handful of games I play and enjoy greatly on there. But the PSP is truly next gen graphics to go - its PS2, Xbox, and PS360 games to go..

The best you get on the DS is cleaned up N64 era graphics to go... some are cleaned up SNES type graphics.. which is fine! I'm just saying some people prefer one to the other and aren't aware they are that different...... (kind of like the Zune/iPod scenario - people assume they are the same and buy the one thats sold more...)

Update: Apparently they are dropping the 3000 price when Go hits. I can almost bet once Sony sees the catastrophe that Go sales are you'll see it at $199 at Christmas or just after. Unfortunately that's still too high all things considered.
Sorry no link about the price drop. I figured everyone might have read it somewhere else anyway.
