Has anyone gotten this to work with Ubuntu 9.04? Also is it possible to get this to work using the network on windows XP without installing any HP software? My wife and I have work laptops that are part of a work domain, and when we bring them home its hard to set up printing and I dont want to install the HP software on those laptops. Even with bluetooth, I haven't had any success...
also for Ubuntu I downloaded an HP Print Driver, but haven't had any luck. there is an option to configure the printer through wifi by first creating a USB connection, which I still have to try, but it wont just see it on the network.
How can my PS3 see and connect to this thing no problem, but Ubuntu cant? Why I would ever need to print something from my PS3 is another story...
Question about
Ubuntu Support
So it turns out if you buy this and want it to connect to an Ubuntu Machine. You need to download the latest version of HPLIB from HP Support. The HPLIB in the Software Center is out of date... The install was a breeze though.
