Question about
Trying to figure out if I should replace my Linksys WRT600N with the new E4200? Anyone done this?
Well, kind of. I just replaced my WRT610N with the E4200. Early to tell, but so far, the answer needs to be an unequivocal "YES". Big family, many devices. iPads, laptops, , iPhone, Blackberry, AppleTV, PS3... Video and live chat streaming all over the place, and it doesn't miss a beat. Range (not throughput) was the biggest issue I had with the WRT610N, and this mashes it. I debated between the E4200 and the Airport Extreme (mixed PC / Apple environment), but I'm glad I chose this. If my opinion changes over the coming weeks, I'll let you know. The review on CNET is pretty decent. The second page, once you expand the review shows a comparison chart. One look at the WRT610N compared to the E4200 and you'll have some more backup. Hope this helps.
