Touchpad tap for mouse click

Is it possible to set up the OLPC to do a touchpad tap to act as a mouse click? Mine only lets me use the physical mouse buttons for clicks. I'm too used to a touchpad click like on regular laptops and really long for it when I want to use the XO-1.

I am using an old USB laser mouse and a USB Dell keyboard on my XO. I use it to stream music throughout my house. I run Mplayer in Terminal and broadcast with FM transmitter to all the FM radios on my end of the street. It will stream podcast, music, radio stations and play most movie formats. It has SSD so it doesn't have a hard drive spinning 24/7 and is energy efficient. I shut the screen down when not sitting in front of it. Hope this Gives you a reason to drag it out of the closet. Otherwise is it useless
