Touch screen blues?

This is my first standalone GPS unit I've actually owned. Anyone else having trouble with an unresponsive/inaccurate touch screen? It's much more accurate when I use the erase-end of a pencil, but hopeless using my pointer finger. Thoughts? Fixes?

Me too, I think this is a much more wide spread problem then they let on.

Mine too.. actually I feel the touchscreen kinda bubbly in some places. Like there was some air space between the first layer and the bottom.

The touchscreen is a real drawback for this device. We've had to use a pen at times too. I have found that if you recalibrate the touchscreen, it seems to work well for a while. But, how many times do I need to recalibrate it?!
