touch problems

Overall I have had a great experience with the bamboo, but once in a while the touch processing of the pad will freak out. I am running a macbook early 2009 with a 2.0GHz processor and 4GB of ram. Its not an amazing machine, but I don't think the touch should lag behind as much as it done. Its as if the commands build up and it goes through all of the, or just random clicks while I am typing even though I do not have a hand or anything on the pad. They are probably 2 separate problems. I think the build up of command may be caused by having an external hard drive attached and I really only notice it on the OS X side, but the random clicks while I am typing occur on both boot camp xp and OS X. any suggestions or thoughts?

I'm having the exact same issue, and not sure how to correct it. Fairly frustrating. Any solutions?

I bought a micro fiber cloth from the dollar store and wipe it off. Make sure it is unplugged and also wipe of the pinky side of your hand so you don't undo what you just did. Plug it in and I have been having good luck. It doesn't always work but most of the time.

I'm using this with my 27" iMac and it seems to work great as a touch surface however given the screen size of the iMac using the pen for navigation is a problem. It does, however, work great in Acorn or Pixelmator. Overall my feeling about this device is if you like the trackpad on the Macbook Pros and want a similar experience for your desktop than you'll be happy with this tablet.
