This (Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" WiFi only) vs the Nook Color.

Consider that I have rooted the NookColor. So, I've got CyanogenMod7 with Google Addons (Market, Maps, Gmail, Mail, etc).

One thing to consider when deciding between the two is whether or not you want a full Android experience or not, since the NOOKcolor won't let you access the Android Market and install the full range of Android apps unless you're prepared to root it. Otherwise I'd only consider the NOOKcolor if you're looking for something to use mainly as an ebook reader.

Also, the 7-inch Galaxy Tab is starting to show its age, you may want to wait a couple of months to see what new 7-inch tablets get announced.

Not what I was hoping for.... I OWN a rooted NookColor, and its loaded with a custom Rom; as I've got no use for the reader (although it was pretty sweet), I use Aldiko for my book reading needs. But my NookColor feels quite sluggish at times. And thing is, I could easily change it for a Galaxy Tab 7.
