Question about
KyleWiersbe

This is kind of a strange question, but heck I’ll ask anyway. I’ve got an original 60g PS3 (I love it!

) but I go back and forth with my system a lot, which mean, I’m unplugging it several times a week. About a year ago I noticed that the plug and power switch on the back of the system actually move quite a bit. It doesn’t seem like this has gotten any worse over time, and I’ve never had any problems with it, but I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this problem on the PS3 or had issues with it. I love that my 60g actually has backwards compatibility, so I don’t want to send it to an early grave, but I also take it with me a lot, so I just wanted to know if this was common or not. Thanks.

I have the 20 GB one which is the same as the 60 GB BC-wise... I have never experienced the problem you described. I have taken mine out a few times like to my mom's or gf's place and it seems really solid. You could either bet on repairing it through Sony or buying a cheap used one on ebay to take with you instead... I have only been really impressed at the build quality and durability of the PS3 so far...
