Question about
There is a dead pixel in the bottom left corner of my rebel t2i's LCD screen. The red dot continues to show up on video and in some pictures.
I've cleaned the sensor with the clean sensor option in the menu and sometimes the pixel goes away and sometimes it doesn't. Now I can't get a change at all. I was wondering how normal this was and if I could fix it myself with a manual sensor clean (that I have no idea how to perform) or do I need to send it back for a new body.
I have a stuck red pixel in my shots as well. Bit of a bummer. I think it is something that can not be fixed by the user and would require service/replacement.
Mine is out of warranty, so I live with it and just use the touch up feature to remove the spot from my photos.
