Question about
The one to buy in India? X360 Slim or Playstation 3 Slim?
I am planning to buy a console and I am confuse between the console wars. I have experienced a X360 before since its a hit in my town and seriously no one owns a PS3 here. The reason I am confused is the distinctive features of PS3 like bluray player and exclusive FIFA Interactive World Cup mode in FIFA series on PS3 version. But i have played Gears of Wars a lot and a lot xbox for fifa . What should i do ? AM i losing other than this features if I prefer to buy X360 because this console is currently on lead to get into my shopping list.

If you game online with your friends and if they have 360s, then Xbox would be the way to go. However, if you want a device that will do double-duty as blu-ray player, then PS3 is the way to go.
While there are a few exclusives to the PS3, there are probably more for the Xbox; but that is just my impression - I haven't counted. Counting console exclusives may be less important than weighing which one has the exclusives you are most interested in. Don't be overly swayed by the Kinect either - in terms of games it really only makes sense for dance games to this point. For more hard core stuff, a regular controller is still the way to play with a console. Again, in my opinion.

Both consoles are damn good. But, I'd personally recommend to go for the Xbox 360 for quite a few reasons.
- Xbox LIVE is better than PSN.
- Breath-taking games like Gears of War 3, the upcoming Halo 4, Forza Motorsport 4 etc are exclusive for Xbox 360.
- Kinect is awesome. Playstation Move is like a refined, updated Wii i.e. nothing new. Kinect is truly a revolutionary product with many fun games on board and many hardcore games like Ryse coming soon. Also, many controller based games like Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier & Forza Motorsport 4 will leverage Kinect & make the gameplay even more immersive. Also, EA has announced that many popular titles in the EA Sports catalogue are coming to Kinect for Xbox 360 including Fifa.
- Ecosystem. Windows Phone has Xbox LIVE built-in & the upcoming Windows 8 will have it built-in as well. So, you can create a very strong ecosystem of products that just work together seamlessly. Controlling your TV with your phone, with your voice or gestures feels very natural and something interesting and new. You can even stream all the music & video on your Windows 7 PC to your Xbox 360 via Windows Media Center. So, you wouldn't need to fill your Xbox hard drive with all the media.
- As you mentioned, all your friends own a 360. So, getting an Xbox would be the logical choice. You do want to enjoy multiplayer games, right? :)

The 360 is outdated. PS3 is stomping the Xbox all over the world except in the US.
I like being able to recharge my controller with a standard USB cable (can't do that with Xbox), install a 500GB hdd, (can't do that with Xbox) use the built in web browser to watch movies and guess what yeah that's right, you can't do that with Xbox. Did I mention the Xbox has a huge external power brick? In the year 2012 they still havn't figured out a way to build it in?
The Xbox games get scratched very easily, never a problem with the PS3 discs. you have to stream everything on the Xbox because it won't allow copying anything non M$.
The PS3 allows streaming and copying files directly to the hdd.
Let's talk xbl, it has cross game chat, other than that it is the same thing and if anyone says otherwise I own BOTH consoles so I know for a FACT it is, if your friends are on Xbox get that, I guess, but honestly most of the ppl I know who were hardcore xbots have switch to PS3 because lets face it, PSN has come so far there is no longer a reason to pay for XBL.
If you like the Xbox controller better there's many affordable controllers that look exactly like the Xbox controller for the PS3.
By the way, since PSN is free you can have multiple accounts if you have many friends,
(i have 4 accounts and need to make another) you can also do that on Xbox if you are willing to pay alot extra.
Anyways that's my take on it, it's your money, your choice, and your time on the phone with tech support if you make the wrong choice, anyone who has delt with the RROD knows what I'm taking about. Oh wait the took the red LEDs out, I believe its now known as the RDOD red dot of death.
