Question about
The earlier Verizon MiFi 2200 had GPS capability, but Verizon disabled this. Does anyone know if the GPS can be enabled on this device?
The reason I ask is that I would like to buy an Android tablet. Some of the WiFi only tablets are interesting, but may not have GPS. I would like to have location services available to my tablet. If the MiFi can provide location services, then I can easily write some code to fetch the location info and provide it to Android.
Looks like its disabled too at least on my device. I logged into the web page and don't see any GPS on or off option.
