The classic problem with the LCD screen

Ok so my iMac screen looks like a cutting table, it has all this vertical lines that it made me put a slave CTR monitor. I can't turn the imac screen off, so I'm always using both screens with the same image.

I found out that some serial numbers could use an extended guarantee, but what about those who don't have that serial. I went to the mac store in my country (Nicaragua) and they told me $50 later that it was the screen... I'm like DUH!!! so they said that the only way to fix it is by replacing the whole LCD which is like $700 here.

I can't believe that apple has this bad quality issues and does nothing about it, just a small amount of costumes, I feel discriminated.

I can finally say that you should buy that extended warranty stuff, but at the end it only ads to the already expensive price you pay for "good quality"

Greetings from Nicaragua
