The Charger
I manually take out the batteries and charge em, the mouse dock charger thing stopped charging. Anyone had this issue? and fixed it?
I had this issue - fixed it by throwing it away and getting one of the new design from Logitech. The charging contacts just stop working after a while ...

Yeah, I've found that the contacts get a bit touchy after having had this thing for almost 7 years :) I still love this mouse though. If you polish up the contacts a bit on the mouse and base, it should help.

Always had to take an eraser to polish the charger contacts and a sharp piece of metal (knife) to scrape and clean the contacts on the mouse. I had been using it for about 6 years though!
