Stuck downloads

Every time I shut the PS3 down, I get the "do you want to shut it down after the background downloads finish" screen instead of the normal shut down screen. There's no downloads pending anywhere that I can see. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Never mind - I downloaded something else, and now it shuts down as normal. The tube must have been clogged.
