Question about
Speeding up my home network. With my Apple Airport Extreme and Drobo.
Hey there I currently have my Apple Airport Extreme with my Drobo Drive hooked up to it. I set it up this way so I could access my music, video, and other files when I'm away from my home. The problem is, it is so SLOOOOWWWWWWWWW. Is there any way I can speed up accessing my files?
Now the USB ports on the extreme are interesting, they are sorta of strange, I have tried to access a hard-drive and it was slow as well. Look, the best way to do it would be to have it hocked up to a machine and use software to make it appear on the network, or build your own server. Another reccomendation is to buy another Drobo and use the current one as a backup machine or something, for your the Drobo File Sever is designed for you. www.drobo.com/products/professionals/drobo-fs/inde...
