Sound cutting out

This has only happened once, so its not really a concern to me yet, but if it continues I won't be so happy.

I was playing Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox over component set to 1080p with your standard Red/White audio connectors, nothing fancy. In the middle of the match the sound just stopped, I thought that I had been hit by a flashbang or something, then it continued silent despite my turning the volume up/down. I switched inputs and then back to the Xbox and the sound came back. I'm not sure if this is tied to MW2 specifically, the xbox, or the tv. Will post if it happens again, noting exactly what happened leading up to the problem.

Have you tried hooking all of the component cables to your TV? Plus, to tell you right now, it's not MW2, for sure.
Also, try changing the output on your cable and switch it to HDTV. There should be a whole bunch if colored port on the back of your TV. If it doesn't work, try playing for a while, and if the sound cuts out, restart your console. Also, try another game, like Left 4 Dead or Grand Theft Auto IV. If the sound cuts out while playing other games, get a new TV, because that will be your problem. I recomend the Samsung LN40B650T1f or LG 42LH50.
