Some issues with HTC Magic with the forced update (Sense UI)

Okay, I've had my HTC Magic for a month now and was pretty happy with it overall... -until- my wireless provider forced an RUU update to the Sense UI to resolve that tricky 911 call issue. Sounded great. at first... but now I've run into some issues that I'm hoping someone out there will be able to help me with...

1.) I cannot save any kind of file to my phone or microSD card from the built-in browser or from Dolphin browser (v.2). Before the update I could do this! Now all it tells me is that I have no space on my phone which I absolutely do. Also when I tried to save a wallpaper (less than 1 mb in size) the download source only shows as 'unknown' when before it would show the website and file name...

2.) My icons get stuck. I know to long press on any icon or widget then drag them to where ever I want them. Now, some of my icons cannot be moved... if I long press on it, it just opens the application. A temp. fix is to reboot the phone... which I have been doing every 1.5 days now. This is -not- what a smart phone is supposed to do!

3.) Text messages sent/received which are past 1 day old show no time stamp. Same as before the update, however, before I was able to long press on a text message and select "show details" which showed the timestamp. Now... it shows no detail, just the sender's name and number. I don't know if this is an issue or just lack of foresight...

Any insight would be greatly appreciated... I am tired of rebooting my phone everyday... please post here your comments OR redirect me to some place where I can gain more information... thank you so much!

Also my phone has not been modded or rooted in any way before so the only conclusion is that the update is still buggy and needs to be fixed fast...

I also wanted to add that my browser crashes whenever it finishes playing any Flash content... but I know the developers are working hard on that and I do appreciate the effort, lol.
