Software version 3.1.2

So... Whats the word on the new update, has it fixed any of the issues? I'm having problems with 3.1 but don't want to upgrade to hastily, lest it can get any worse.

fixes the issue when the phone won't come out of sleep, having to reboot the phone when losing cell service and fixes occasional crash when watching video stream. that's what they tell you they fix, but supposedly it also fixes the tethering hack so you can't tether. probably some other behind the scenes stuff...

So last night I IMed ATT and the rep told me to do the following (rep said this is on Apple's Troubleshooting site, but I couldn't find it)

1. Toggle Airplane Mode ON for at least 15 seconds. Then toggle back to OFF
2. Go -SETTINGS- -GENERAL- - RESET- - RESET NETWORK SETTINGS
3. iPhone powers off/on automatically

I will try this for a day or two and if it does not resolve the issue, my next step is to call Apple support

Ya, phone off / on with SBSSettings, its quick and painless.. but you have to jailbreak.
