Question about
mathewballard

So I have an iPhone 4 that I use for streaming music and the like while I'm working.

Sadly, the building I work in kills 3G and there is no reliable Wifi near my floor. I tried a MiFi that a co-worker had the other day and it worked beautifully for me.

So, while I am thinking about getting one I'm wondering if this would be a worthwhile investment or are there better options for me?

Depending on where you are located, you may also want to look at the Clear iSpot. If Clear has coverage in your area, it could be faster than the MiFi and they also offer cheaper month-to-month plans than Verizon does. The tradeoff is their coverage is nowhere near Verizon's coverage, but where it works, it generally works pretty well. I think an unlimited plan for the iSpot is $25/month.
If there is no Clear coverage available, the MiFi is probably your best bet right now.
