Question about
ArmpitOfDeath

So I ditched the Droid a number of months back, and made some arrangements for rationalisation of my phones - but find myself needing to field an Android phone…

even after I make my switch to Windows Phone 7.

Assuming I am buying in the UK, what is the best handset to buy? (i.e. best specs either shipped with, or most likely capable of, Froyo)

Probably the HTC Desire or the Desire HD when it releases.

I would stay away from the Milestone 2 if you're against the whole Android skinning thing. While it has 2.2, it apparently has a heavier version of Motoblur, not the same one on the Droid X/2

Tips for giving the best answers

Sometimes it's just little details that separates a great and not so great answer! Here are a few simple tips to keep in mind:

1
Be complete and thorough. Don't skimp on the details!
2
Try not to answer with a question. Because that's not really an answer, right?
3
A little research goes a long way. Back up your claims and assumptions!
4
Try to be patient, tech questions can be complicated.
