Question about
Should i upgrade to 64bit 7 and ubuntu? I dont know much about what i'll gain from it?
I am sure someone can give you a real technical answer, but basically if you have more than 3gbs of RAM you should be using 64bit so you can actually take advantage of that ram! If you have 3 or less...meh I say, unless you a really itching to re-install your OS ;P

I'm still hesitant to use 64bit Ubuntu mainly for Flash compatability even though Ubuntu's help page says "most issues have now been resolved".

x64 is your best option. Period. No reason to use anything else, especially since 64-bit drivers are widely available for Windows 7

Well if your computer has more then 3 Gs of Ram yes you should absolutely upgrade to a 64 bit OS. i can only speak for win 7 as i have never used the 32 bit Ubuntu but i can say that you will gain a considerable performance boost fir win 7 over the 32 bit configuration. and since win 7 64 also comes with 32 bit compatibility (for some apps) you don't have much to loss on the win side, and loads to gain
