Question about
Should I upgrade the RAM in my 13-inch MacBook Pro? (Lion seems to eat a lot.)
Since upgrading to OS X Lion, RAM in my Mac has be disappearing fast. I currently have 4gb and i also do a lot of 3d modeling and rendering. Should I do the upgrade or wait for updates and optimizations for Lion?

I would go for it since 8GB of memory is cheap and it is easy to upgrade yourself.
Actually, it is now $39.99 after rebate on Amazon via the link provided by flackend. $49.99 before rebate! That price can change though. It was $53.99 a day or two ago before $10 rebate.
I have the same memory but paid more for it and it works great in my Macbook Pro.

I read this article a while back on 9to5 Mac. Upgrade from 4GB to 8GB for $45: 9to5mac.com/2011/07/16/upgrade-your-macbook-pro-im...
I was tempted to upgrade but my mac runs fine on what it has.
