Are you in one ecosystem now? It can be expensive and difficult to switch if you have bought a lot of apps in one of those ecosystems already. It also depends on how quickly you need something. I haven't heard about the iPhone coming on August 7, but if you believe that, it is probably worth the wait. I really wouldn't expect the next iPhone until the October timeframe.
