Question about
Should I re-buy a Galaxy Nexus?
I had a Galaxy Nexus for about two weeks but returned it because I was having issues with my phone and Verizon refused to swap it out. I recently purchased an iPhone 4s because of its resale value (I don't want to be stuck with a phone for two years), build quality, and camera. After about 20 minutes with my new phone I started to long for some ICS features mainly Google Maps, swift-key, widgets and haptic feedback.
I like the design and feel of the iPhone much more than the GN but I was an iOS user for 3.5 years and find it a little stale. Any one else have bad experiences with the Galaxy Nexus?

My Galaxy Nexus and surprisingly Verizon's network have been really impressing me lately. With admittedly lighter then my normal heavy usage, yesterday my battery lasted over 20 hours and I plugged it in with 20% left.
I also saw my best ever LTE downlink speed this week. 44.93 Mbps on Monday.
The iPhone 4S is certainly a great device. But I think the Galaxy Nexus will hold its value better then you suspect, Nexus devices being better in this respect. The Nexus S has kept its price up due to ICS. A trend I expect to see continue with the Galaxy Nexus.

Consistent quality control seems to be eluding all the major phone manufacturers lately, so, if you think you had a bad unit you probably did. Odds are you'll get a good one next time unless the problems you were having affected all Galaxy Nexus owners. It took me 2 tries to get a problem-free Motorola Photon.

Thats really a tough one. i love my GN i Also love my iPhone 4S.
If i had to pick one or the other i would pick with GN for similar reasons you mentioned. ICS is what really makes the phone for me.
As Groovechicken said there have been QC issues with the phones of late so if you really liked the hardware go back to it but if its the OS that you really like id hold off for another phone that you think has better hardware. We are supposed to start seeing more Phones soon that are ICS.
Just remember that its unlikely that any of them would be pure ICS as most phones are skinned.
