Should I jump for the new Nexus S 4G or wait for the EVO 3D? I'm stuck with an old Samsung Instinct s30, and I'm able to upgrade mid-April.

The EVO 3D features better build quality, a larger display, and a potentially faster processor. In terms of hardware, the EVO 3D is a current gen device while the Nexus S is nearing last gen (by this, I mean single core 1 GHz). That said, clock speed still doesn't mean much and the Hummingbird in the Nexus S still performs very well.
I would recommend getting your hands on a Nexus S and EVO 4G to see which one you like better. While the EVO 4G won't be the most accurate representation of the 3D, it gives you a good idea of the size and HTC Sense.

I was tempted by the Nexus S 4G, but the lack of microSD, HDMI out, and a notification LED makes it hard for me to consider swapping my EVO 4G for it. Plus, all the reception issues the NS4G has, which I encounter while testing it out at the Sprint store. But I'm sure a firmware update will fix that last one.
I really want to see the EVO 3D in person first. The dual-core processor would future-proof it, but the lack of a built-in kickstand is a hard sell for me. =oP
