Question about
Should I get an HTC Rhyme?
I really like that the dock comes w/ it. My current phone is an og droid and I went out and bought the car and media dock immediately and find them very useful. While I can see the silly-ness of the charm, I miss most calls while I am out of the apartment. I do think it is cute and kind of a good idea. Earbuds notoriously hurt my ears. So, those aren't much of a factor for me. 4G just came to my area, but all I hear about is the battery drainage, so I am not sure that the lack of 4G will be a problem for me. I am definitely on a budget and under $150 would be best. I can get this phone for $50 w/ 2yr contract right now, so that is a great price for me. I guess I am just afraid that this phone will be horribly outdated once my 2 year contract is up and I will be as frustrated as I am now w/ my droid.

I work for Verizon Wireless... Its a great phone!
Don't knock the charm... its great where you need silence. It has top specs that will keep you very happy until your next upgrade.
Like I tell everyone... feel free to stop by a store and play with it... hog it for 10 to 20 minutes, download an app, browse a few sites, test the speaker, and more!
I am guessing having an older droid you have the unlimited data plan, great!
As for 4G its great but not all over and does use more battery. 3G is just fine for streaming netfilx or radio.
I truly believe you will enjoy this phone. If not use your 14 day worry free guaranty to exchange the phone, with 35 dollar restocking fee to get something else or go back to your previous droid as you use gdgt to find a new phone ;)
PS: Free Desktop Dock!
