Question about
Should I buy 4gb silm.
Found an offer for a very reasonably priced xbox 360 slim ( sub $150 (AUS)). Should I make the dive or wait till the next round of consoles (720)? your opinions would be very welcome as would your speedy reply :). Also how much would a hard drive upgrade cost?

The extra 250GB harddrive is around $110 CDN(I don't know about AUS prices, probably around the same tho).
To make your Xbox even slightly useful, you kinda need it. If the price of the xbox + the harddrive is less than the 250GB model (which comes with games this time of year), then do it.
As for waiting. I wouldn't. There's still at least 2 more years of really good gaming to be had in the 360. Plus the last 5 or so of excellent games that are worth playing. Don't be one of those people who keeps saying "oh, I'll wait for the next one that hasn't been announced yet"

I would go for it. This time in a consoles life cycle is great because the prices couldn't get much better and the library is fleshed out. Developers have a firm grasp on the hardware and put out pretty impressive graphics that look alien to the launch titles of yore.

It really depends on what kind of gamer you are. If you find yourself playing a bunch of xbox hit titles, then it's definitely worth it. I bought the 4GB xbox myself and I really like it.

I would start with the 4GB if you are just getting into gaming because between the 4GB internal and flash drives you should have enough for game saves. If you are going to be downloading DLC or buying Xbox Live Games I suggest going with the 250GB hard drive model. You can always upgrade by buying the Kinnect or 250GB hard drive later.
