Question about
Samsung SyncMaster 305T failure rate
Has anyone had one of these bad boys fail? we have 6 and a 3rd just started to fail yesterday. the first one wouldn't power up after a year (warr replaced), the second had a digital converter issue (256 color w/ interlace and a ton of flicker, also warr replaced) and now a 3rd is starting to have this issue. My biggest concern is now they are all out of Warranty.
I have one that is dying on me. After a few minutes the display goes purple like a CRT with a dead tube. Very odd. Can't use it any more since it isn't reliable. Had it for about 2 years now.

Same here with the flickering, but I had a chip blown on me as well on the power board prior to that. Had the power board replaced, then the flickering came. People have been talking about this for years now. The monitor's failure rate is too high. I'm looking to see if I can find new/refurbished boards online. samsungparts.com used to have them, but they're still out of stock.
