Question about
Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket or OG Galaxy SII
I've had the Galaxy SII since last month and the Skyrocket is just released today. I live in San Francisco so LTE would inevitably come soon. Should I give up my faster processor for LTE and .2 inches more screen size or stay with my Galaxy SII?

The original GS2 doesn't have the faster processor. The Skyrocket has a 1.5 GHz Dual Core Processor, while the original only has a 1.2 GHz Dual Core. The Skyrocket, so far, is a wonderful phone. When I went to get mine, the representative at Best Buy said people have been having problems. Mine at first didn't connect to the data network, but a simple reboot did the trick, and so far, no problems. So if you have the money, I say go for the Skyrocket. I live right next to Athens, GA, so I have access to the LTE there and in Atlanta. But definitely go for it, especially since San Francisco will more then likely have LTE by the end of the year.

If you're thinking ahead, getting the LTE version would be better in the long run, even if you're in a non-LTE area. That's my thinking when I got my Skyrocket...I figure my area will eventually get LTE very soon, since the two neighboring cities recently deployed LTE.

I can tell you that the LTE that we have here in Houston absolutely rocks on the Skyrocket. I've consistently been getting 25 to 40 mbps down. It's crazy. So if it is an easy trade for you I would do it. If it were me, I would do it because otherwise I would be forever pissed knowing there was a MUCH faster network available from my carrier that I couldn't access.
