Question about
Root Droid with official VZW 2.1?
I finally got the Droid updated to 2.1 via the official channels. Now how do I get root access? Has anyone attempted to get root on a 2.1 device?
They ideal method is root before the upgrade since its already established then switch to a rom that uses the official update in its root. But I am sure there will be a method to root from a 2.1 device, probably involving downgrading then rooting back up, thats how the G1 worked at least.
