Question about
Recommendation on how to setup audio?
Cisco DTA30 for cable, Roku, Onkyo TX-SR606, and the Samsung LN-T4661. Would rather only use one HDMI cable to the TV from the receiver, but that isn't working. Any suggestions? Probably I'll have to use the optical out back to the TV, since the DTA is connected right to the TV right now.
In general, I've never had a problem with continuous HDMI chains and the two Onkyo receivers that I have owned. With your setup, you would need a total of three HDMI cables, but I assume that you have that covered. If not, what are the video out options on the DTA30?
While I wouldn't normally point someone elsewhere, you may have better luck finding other DTA30 owners on AVSFORUM.
