Question about
RAW Support in iPhoto
Anyone know if there is a way to get iPhoto to import pictures from this camera that are in the RAW format?

That update only added support for the E-P1 and E-P2. iPhoto still won't import RAW files from my E-PL1. Guess I will just have to wait for apple to update iPhoto again.

I was planning to use the RAW version to edit in Photoshop, but the Adobe plugin also did not recognize the E-PL1's .orf files. HOWEVER! Olympus has an application (Olympus Master 2) that will allow me to open the .orf files and save them as JPEG or TIFF files. Then, I can open those files in Photoshop for editing. (You can also import them into iPhoto.) There are Mac and Windows versions of the Olympus program, and the download is free.

Lightroom 3 has support for the camera (yes, lots more expensive than iPhoto, I know). According the reviews, the JPEG engine on this camera is extremely good, so unless you expect to be tweaking exposure and white balance, you aren't losing much by sticking to JPEGs.
