PS3 or Xbox or Both??

I have them both and the PS3 is used for PS3 exclusives and Blu-Rays. Now that the Xbox has WiFi there isn't much reason to drop double the money when they both do pretty much the same things.

If I had to sell one I'd part with my PS3 rather easily.

I use both. The Xbox has more in the way of media options and feels like a more well-rounded console. It just seems like you can do more with a 360 (especially if you use Kinect). I use my PS3 primarily for playing Blu-rays and a limited number of exclusive titles (e.g. Uncharted).

We started with the PS3 mainly because we have kids and the PS3 had more kid friendly games and the xBox had more mature games A major point in the PS3s favor for us was the built in Blu Ray We also have an xBox which has some good games but even with the new dashboard the new media stuff is useless unless you have a Gold Membership IE you cant watch netflix on xBox UNLESS you have a gold membership. Soo once again our xBox has become our secondary console. The latest dashboard update also included a pretty draconian ToS Basically you give away your rights to bitch if services go down and you give up the right to class action suits.

I have both. Originally bought the PS3 as a blu-ray player, and after 3 years it's still just my blu-ray player. There are a few great games of the PS3 (GT5, Uncharted), but for any of the multi-platform games, I get it for my Xbox. I just like the controller better.

Also, for some games the PS3 version only runs 720p, while the 360 will run Full 1080p.

Like Breeze93, I wouldn't miss my PS3

Both!!! just for the heck of it... besides the look good side by side. But realistically speaking, the idea of shopping for games and having a wider selection to choose from is just better... I got them both (Actually a Wii too, lol!) but if it comes down to ONE then go PS3 -. Internet, Blu-ray, Media Server client, full DLNA comp... etc... beat the Box by a mile...

If you can afford it get both, they both have there plus and negative points. The xbox seems to be getting more media centric with the new dashboard and apps but the PS3 seems to play better with my NAS (not so picky about media formats).
