PS3 Accessing the 2Big Network Shares over the LAN

If anyone knows how, I would be really interested in finding out how to configure things such that I can access my media content on my NAS from my PS3.

You will need to enable DLNA and set the access, after that is should just be a simple case of searching for media servers in the XMB.

It states those features in the user guide here:
www.lacie.com/download/datasheet/2bigNetwork2_en.p...

On the flip side can I ask how you are finding the functionality & streaming capabilities of this NAS as I am currently searching the market for such a product.

Good luck, P

Thanks philnospam for your input. I must say I like to tinker with homebrew (Ek Herm) & i'm interested about your comment where you state "I've even been able to stream videos using some hack on the Wii via SMB." I'd love to be able to get this working; can you share your method with me please? I've so-far only been able to find details about streaming FLV flash video; are you saying it may be possible to stream in other (native) formats. Please drop me a reply. Thanks very much

Tips for giving the best answers

Sometimes it's just little details that separates a great and not so great answer! Here are a few simple tips to keep in mind:

1
Be complete and thorough. Don't skimp on the details!
2
Try not to answer with a question. Because that's not really an answer, right?
3
