Problems getting your iPad 3rd-gen to sync over wifi?

I was having some really annoying issues with the new iPad, primarily that I couldn't get iTunes to see the device if it's wasn't connected with USB. All the proper settings were set (I'm pretty sure) and iTunes already recognized my iPad 2 and iPhone 4 just fine over Wifi.

The problem went beyond iTunes, as well. I was also unable from the iPad to see any other device on the home network, meaning Remote, SplashTop, AirVideo, etc. wouldn't work. I tried everything I found on every forum out there, to no avail, until someone recommended shutting down both devices completely and restarting them. Why would this work if the other two iOS devices were recognized just fine?

Somehow that miraculously worked. The first thing they tell you to do when you call tech support (making you roll your eyes) was the solution, in my case at least. I'm wondering if it was something with Bonjour.

I'm curious to know if anyone else encountered this issue and if so did you find a different solution?

This problem was so irritating, I got so fed up with it. I've searched endlessly on Google, in the hope that someone would figure out on how to solve this, once and for all... I did a bunch of research came across WIRED magazine and found a extensive and detailed review of Pong Research cases. These guys make a very special case which has a built-in antenna in between its layers, which redirects and boost the signal and range of your new iPad, iPhone and other devices. As a result, I'm able to connect to my router from much further without a problem. I also enjoy a lot the Origami Smart Cover it comes with, which besides providing the classic sleep/awake function, folds and allows you to stand the iPad on 5 different positions.
