Poor Battery Life with the MS mobile mouse 4000?
For anyone else who has owned or does own this mouse, what's been your experience with battery life? I may be a heavier user, but I've only been able to keep this mouse working for around a month before the battery is dead and I have to replace it. Thanks!
I've had this problem before. Check to make sure the surface you are mousing on isn't keeping the mouse from entering 'sleep' mode.
Some patterns are so complex that mice remain on indefinitely, causing a really short battery life.
1 month is definitely abnormal, as Microsoft mice are generally good at power maintenance.

This is my second Microsoft Mouse and both of them get about 3 months of battery life. Kinda frustrating since I bought this one because it says you should get 10 months of battery (that and it was on woot). Anyway when not in use I've been keeping it on the bezel of my laptop mostly but still about 3 months. Sigh. Well this is why I bought rechargables.
