Question about
Palm webOS 1.3.1 for the Pre now live for Bell (and I assume Sprint)
My freshly downloaded copy of webOS 1.3.1 has just downloaded and is currently installing itself. As soon as I can I am going to test it against all of the known bugs that I am aware of and post the results.
Based on the support page on Sprint (the Bell page has not been updated) it looks like the Calendar bugs are addressed as well as the Exchange issues.

Well, I can confirm that the 50 message GMail inbox bug has been addressed. Now when my inbox hits 50 messages email still pushes to the device (as opposed to before where at 50 messages email would stop syncing, period.)
However, opposed to Palm's claims it looks to me that Calendar syncing is still broken. I am going to wipe my device and try again and see if I can confirm this...

Okay. As far as I can tell right now a GMail Calendar sync (for Google Apps users) only works over 3G. As in it won't sync over WiFi, not even a little - not even after a reset.
However, turning off WiFi fixes everything.
Can anyone confirm this?

I just updated mine. It seems a bit zippier, but I'll have to push it more in the next few days to really see if they ironed out all the bugs and see how much improved 1.3.1 is (I updated from 1.2).
