Question about
ordered a pre on ebay last night (used, in great condition). always wanted to play with one, now i can (my hero is annoying me!).
what are some essential apps for the pre. one i'm definitely downloading/paying for is the app to control itunes (remote something? forgot name right now). apps i use on android right now:

any replacements for these? thanks! excited to use webOS

there is no shazam app currently. API's for using the mic aren't built into webOS yet unfortunately
there are several good options for streaming music as well
Also, all apps in the catalog are half off for the next week or so.

be sure to go to precentral.net so you can learn on installing "Preware". You'll get access to free homebrew apps as well as patches to trick out your Pre. Also download Topple Ball Mini from the App Catalog ;)
