Question about
older but stable
My 17 yr old daughter has the Power Mac G4 dual 500Mhz model. I upgraded the hard drive and RAM, as well as put in a more capable video card and she's been happy with it. Sure it's older and can't be upgraded past Tiger, but it's a very stable system and perfect until she outgrows it and needs something more powerful.

(Hah, found this post two years later). Are you guys still using the computer at all? If so, how is it being limited to Tiger? Is it still usable at all or do you find the computer too slow and / or aren't able to use important applications?
