Question about
Not syncing all Google contacts
I recently wiped my Pre to install 1.3.5, then upgraded to 1.3.5.1, but I noticed a significant number of contacts not syncing at all from my Google account. It's only pulling in roughly 1/3 or 98 of my contacts and even then, it's not pulling in all contact information. For instance, it'll pull in an email address, but nothing else.
I even removed all my accounts, email, IM and contacts to re-add then, but haven't had any luck.
Anyone else seeing this issue? I don't want to wipe my device again, since you lose all texts messages and there really isn't an easy way to back those up.

How long did you give it? I've noticed a day+ to resync everything from Google's end.

For all those who happen to stumble upon this issue one day, some of the names in my contacts had a varying amount of accent marks. I removed those from my Google contacts and sync'd multiple times and all's is well now. It also appears that Palm has finally taken to the notion that not all your contacts should sync, but only the ones that you marked as "My Contacts". I hope my hours of frustration, one day, comes to the aid of someone who has this issue.
