Question about
DELTA

Need a smart phone recommendation thats easy to use and hard to break.

I need a recommendation for a smart phone for a family member. The requirements are easy to use (no more complex than an iOS device) and resistant to breaking by dropping (So no iPhone 4/4S with easily broken glass). I would just recommend an iPhone 4 or 4S as she uses an iPod Touch, but the fragility of the glass when dropped is an issue. Anyone have any ideas for something easy to use and not easily broken?

BTW I am leaning towards WP7 for easy to use.

Windows Phone is the sweet spot between iOS and Android. It has a dynamic user interface which is better than iOS and a simpler approach compared to Android. It has a great UX with live tiles, great social network intergration, great approach of bringing similar stuff together with Hubs, an amazing look and feel - Metro, quality applications in the Marketplace which as over 60,000 apps with most of the popular ones covered or coming soon. Windows Phone provides a buttery smooth experience that looks and feels superb, is immensely simple and a joy to use! I'd highly recommend to join the Windows Phone bandwagon. Another great thing about the platform is that you get a range of devices with the same experience. This variety includes screens from 3.5inches to 4.7inches, LCD to Super AMOLED Plus displays, phones with sliding keyboards, speakers, kickstands etc. So, overall, you get a brilliant experience regarding software and hardware. The upcoming Nokia Lumia 900 and the (HTC TITAN II with a 16mp camera!) both with 4G LTE (if you live in the US) are the hottest smartphones in the Windows Phone portfolio. Good luck.
