Hello everybody,
I have a few months old nano 4th generation which got the white screen of death (I had to look that up)
It happened after synchronising with itunes when I unplugged the cable (save)
I brought it back to Apple but they claim it has been wet and I have no right on repair
Now I now for sure it didn't get wet other than me using it while walking in the rain
Has anyone else had this problem, and what did you do if so....
I bought a 8Gb touch because I use it every day but it doesn't feel right..
Thanks, greeting Holm
Question about
Nano White screen of Death - No waranty
The iPod has a water sensor inside the headphone jack (changes colour to partially pink when wet). For that to be tripped, you have to have had the iPod pretty wet or plugged / unpluged a sodden headphone jack. If that sensor has been tripped and there's something wrong with your iPod, then you are pretty much out of luck - time for a new one.
