Question about
My usb port broke, i bought one rosewell enclosure it worked fine but now when i connect it says i need to formate to be able to use. is it coz of enclsr??
i was able to transfer my data to another hd then i formatted this one and transferred the data back but then it started giving this error and all my data is in the hd. is it lost? or there is any way to recover my data?
I had the same problem with the usb port breaking, so i switched the hdd into another enclosure just as you've done and everything worked perfectly from there on... So if say it's probably your enclosure.

Can you provide some information what OS you're using this on? Did you switch OS after you got a new enclosure?
