My old Harmony 676 controlled things fine but 2 buttons were too warn out so I upgraded to the Harmony 900.

Unfortunately, even though all the correct components have been added to the remote's profile, many of the functions of the devices that worked fine with the old 676 remote do not work on the 900. For example, on the Motorola PVR cable box I have no way to skip forward...the most important function for skipping through commercials! The button programmed for skipping does not work, and if I program the remote to learn the function with that button or even map to another button, it still won't skip. Similarly for my Panasonic BluRay player, just the basic play, pause, FF, RW work along with Exit but no manu access possible. Anyone else having similar issues?

Hmmm....my motorola DVR/cable box from comcast works fine for skipping. The menu for my blu ray player I think I had to program...or maybe it was defined as "top menu" in the pre-programmed buttons.
