Question about
Shiloh

My mouse is starting to go out on me and I am looking at the Logitech Performance MX and their G700 I've found them both on sale for a about a $25…

difference. I will be using it mostly with the adobe CS5 suite and was wondering if there is a benefit of one over the other. Since the G700 is a gaming mouse would that be better for working with? -Mahalo

I have both right now and I suggest going with the G700. It offers better tracking and buttons to change the dpi on the fly. The performance mouse has a slightly taller bump then the G700 and it feels very awkward in comparison. The MX also has 3 awkwardly placed side buttons which I really can't stand. The G700 has 4 side buttons but they have a nice concave mold to them so you won't ever misclick the buttons.

For me the Performance MX was a better choice because of its size. With large hands, I need the biggest mice available, and I didn't find the placement of the buttons too awkward, at least not after the first few days.
