Question about
ropeburn

My friend just got one and I was a little confused,

so there is no ON/OFF but also no HOLD button?

has anyone found that they accidentally change songs or anything cause you cannot lock
the screen from unintentional touches.... .maybe it's not an issue.

and about the on/off... I was right to tell my friend
that it will just "sleep" and that's as close to OFF as it needs to be.

You don't need a hold button on touchscreen devices as you can just tap the on/off button to turn the screen off and therefore no longer register inputs.

It is kind of an issue just when you forget to push the "on/off/lock" button. If you push it, it will ignore all touch input and you'll be okay. I forgot to lock the device once and then went for a run and eventually Nike+ was telling me "workout paused" and then "workout finished" due to the bouncing and touching my sweaty shirt... And no, touching the screen won't wake it up, you have to first push the unlock button. Volume up/down buttons will work on "locked mode".
