Question about
Music player - unwanted launching
particularly during calls, the music player will launch and cut the sound from the call - this is happening a *lot* - before I go to T-Mobile just wondered if anyone knew about this?
do you use the headphone dongle with the button on it a lot? I think there is a setting that maps that button to start and stop playing on the music player.

Do you have a rooted phone, It has been doing it to me as well but i am running an unstable rom and it only happens with pandora, which is highly annoying.

not rooted and I never use the music player or headphones at all - while sitting unattended the music player can launch i.e. without any human contact! I think I am going to have to contact T-Mobile but I am not looking forward to the usual turn it on and off, or we're sending you a refresh etc only to find it's still there - main problem is it's unpredictable and I can go a whole day without experiencing it.....

I think the music app is just poorly designed and unpredictable. Instead of cutting in during calls, mine will occasionally switch to "party" mode when I get a new notification during playback. Hopefully the donut version is more stable, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
