Question about
Mouse unusable when transfering files over network
When I copy files to/from my machine to another on the local network at work my mouse becomes jumpy/unusable. The trackpad on my laptop works fine during this period. After the files are finished transferring, its all back to normal. Any ideas on this one?
Chipset drivers seems quite likely. More likely also with a DIY desktop. Try updating the storage and chipset drivers at least (and if it's a Dell/HP/etc, update everything on the support page).
